Purchasing Administrator / Payroll Manager
Location Naas
Our client is a large and successful manufacturing company based in Naas, Co Kildare. They are currently recruiting for a full time permanent Purchasing Administrator and a Payroll Manager.

Purchasing Administrator - Kildare (20-30K)
Candidate Role:

* Ensure stock levels of packaging & ingredients are maintained for production.
* Liaise with various departments in relation to queries/general information, e.g. accounts/sales/production/warehouse
* Raise purchase orders
* Procure packaging, chemicals, ingredients and any other purchases required.
* Study the plan and forecasts and place orders accordingly.
* Schedule and monitor deliveries.
* Ensure sufficient stock is available to meet production demands.
* Constantly monitor stocks specifically stocked for a single product line as well as limited life stock.
* Monitor and keep re-order points accurate.
* Actively use and refer to stock/purchasing reports.
* Monitor the 'Return To Vendor' process for faulty products and bring it to its conclusion, i.e. Credit note.
* Actively visit the warehouses and know your stock.
* Visit the factory floors to look at applications.
* Adhere to all policies and procedures
* Other duties as requested

Ideal Purchasing Administrator:

* Knowledge of production plans and stock maintenance
* Excellent computer skills
* Qualification in purchasing or work experience is an advantage
* Leaving certificate
* 3rd level qualification an advantage

Payroll Manager - Naas (35-45K)

Candidate Role:

* Deal with all aspects of payroll plus Time & Attendance System responsibilities, new starters, leavers, salary adjustments etc
* Processing Payroll on Micropay for weekly and monthly paid employees
* 3 x weekly payrolls – approx. 350 employees
* 4 x monthly payrolls – approx. 150 employees to include UK payroll.
* Prepare monthly financial reports relating to payroll.
* Complete payroll related CSO Returns.
* Process BIK
* Implement process change and keen control management
* Administration of company Pension/VHI Schemes
Salary certs, social welfare forms etc

Ideal Payroll Manager:

* Similar experience in a payroll position.
* Experience in using Micropay and the automated clock-in system TMS
* Capable of all Revenue reporting and deadlines including Year-End and R.O.S. reporting.
* Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent
* IPASS accreditation
* Ability to meet deadlines and work on own initiative
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organized, confident and professional
